The reason I don't post more is because I seem to have fuck all to do. I get up, shower, spend a bunch of time looking at news sites, think about going to the basketball courts to try to get some exercise, and then basically repeat. If people are playing on the courts then I walk back home. I've been applying to more jobs, but I still don't spend all that much time on it. Sometimes I run errands for my mother. Around8:30PM, when Lio gets out of work, I show up at his house. I spend an inordinate amount of time figuring out what to eat. It took me about 15 minutes this morning to decide I was going to eat a croissant and drink a venti Americano at Starbucks, but they didn't have real croissants so I had to eat an almond one. I spent an hour trying to figure out what to do for lunch, I drove around for a while.

I like the Americano. It's four shots of espresso (at Starbucks), and then maybe about 15 or 16 oz of water. There's another drink, an alcoholic one, that goes by the name of "Americano", that I like also, that has Campari, sweet vermouth, an orange wheel, and club soda in it. The two drinks are absolutely nothing like each other. I guess they're both watered down versions of drinks, ahh, they're watered down versions of drinks Italians like (there's a cocktail called the Negroni that has gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth - strong taste).

I finally decided to make a steak sandwich. I got a loaf of italian bread from Shoreline, covered it in butter, toasted it, put prepared horseradish and salt and vinegar potato chips on it, and then stuck a ribeye on there. I got a bosc pear, some more salt and vinegar potato chips, and a bottle of Bass, and I drove around trying to find a place to eat it. I ended up sitting at Young's Pond. It was pretty nice. I read for a while - Shakespeare was really, really gay. The first 12 or 13 or so of his sonnets basically involved him telling this young guy that he was so attractive that it'd be some sort of cosmic shame if he didn't have children with a girl. Strange stuff.

I can hardly remember what I've been doing for the last four or five hours. I got a job interview in New Jersey with a real estate investment bank, and then I think I could get another interview with a money management firm in Santa Monica (where is that?) while out in Los Angeles.

I would probably start thinking about what to have for dinner, now, but I'm still full from lunch.
