Dan, you were watching Judge Judy today. I wish I saw it (sort of). One of the drunks.com kids (Kevin) mentioned it to me yesterday since he went to the bar with Lee Totten where this all happened. I don't know the story, and I don't think I care.

But let me tell you a bit about Connecticut since I went shopping today and it was really my first time seeing Connecticut for real since January.

I need some nice clothes for work. Well, needed clothes. I went to Kohls. It's my first time in a Kohls. I had no idea what it was, but I heard they sold pants. The store is brand new, and I presumed it was a hardware store. From what I gather, the store is supposed to be half way between Filenes/JC Penny and Walmart. Trying to be an up scale department store. Well, it looks just like JC Penny, same clothing too. Anyway, the clothes I picked are irrelevent. It's the people that I noticed.

Walking in, I still wasn't sure what type of store it was. I parked in a vacant spot, Lexus to my right, BMW (sweet 528i) to my left, and some SUV type thing in front of me. This isn't that odd of an occurance in this town. I walked in, did my shopping, and checked out. Now, one thing you have to understand about suburban Connecticut.. they're white. The few black people you see are doctors or lawyers or ministers (and there are probably only three black families in town). The people who work at Walmart and Kohls too are not from this town. Nor are the shoppers in Walmart (all the white trash in Connecticut hangs out at Walmart oogling over the rifles). This town is so upper-middle-class-white-america it's funny. Oh, by the way, I also stopped at Walmart on my way home to buy power strips. Even the parking lot was full of luxury cars there, except there was a good share of shit cars too. I have sort of a shit car, but it looks okay. It's no beat up Dodge Dart, but nor is it a Lexus.
