My roommate is a fuck-job

My roommate is Preacherman, same as last year. I knew he was a fuck-job then, and he is still a fuck-job, but he's a good roommate and a good person.

The latest "happening" was just now. I purchased a Proctor Silex coffee grinder (the 160 model). It'll be wonderful to have fresh ground coffee, y'know?

So, then it came time for the demo.. I am showingn Preacherman all the nifty features. It his a retractable power cord, a glass dome, a one touch button, etc. I load it with some coffee beans (Dunkin Donuts brand.. free for doing some survey). I get Preacherman to plug the sucker into the outlet next to him (there arent many in our room). He does that, and I am instantly grinding coffee beans.

Then it is done, since it only takes 8-16 seconds to grind the coffee. So I tell Preacherman to unplug the cord for me (he was in the way, so I couldn't do it myself) and as I'm doing it I say "Watch it, don't pull the power strip out as well". You can guess what happened: He pulled the power strip out as well. This meant that everything plugged in to that outlet died. My UNIX machine is on a UPS, and the laptop has a battery, but my windows machine was not on power backup, nor was Preacherman's. So the computers went down, and my download of Tony Hawk Pro Skater for the Dreamcast was interrupted.

It's all good, and its petty, but Wilson is coming down soon with MC to smoke some dusted treez. Yum.
