Highlander… Eh

Just watched Highlander with the lady (she hadn't seen it and wanted to know what all the arguing on here was about) and I'm not really sure it still holds up. It was cool the first few times, especially when Lio got that uncut LD version, but I'm not really too sure now what makes it so great. Acting, sound production, makeup, etc... it's all really poor. To be fair, I'm not gonna crap on the effects, since it was 1986.

If we're talking movies with Scottish guys kicking ass in them, I'll take Braveheart any day.

The trouble with Scotland... is that it's full of Scots!
