I like the 7th to 10th level range also. It's hard to write good adventures for characters over level 12 or so, particularly when the characters have no back story. 7th to 10th level is the sweet spot.

Mike - I have a bunch of classic modules we could use if you want to take a night off and let me run the game. I am unemployed and all, so I have a ton of time to dedicate to putting an epic one-off together.

If I don't buy the bottle of port that is as old as we are, then I am definitely going to make punch or something else good.

I am also 100% into playing all night. You fuckers need to be committed!
