I was trying to explain to my wife about how we don't have the power to create enough of a collision for the LHC to doomsday us but keep it simple.

Wife: "So if I slapped your face hard enough, there would be an explosion."

Me: "Yes, but you don't have that kind of power. Only Michael Bay has that kind of power."
