James is my friend too, and as of this afternoon, he's not even involved in the battle in Afghanistan. He's here, in the U.S. True, there's a good chance he'll get sent over, but I doubt that he would appreciate your post either. Even if he joined the services to afford school, like FlyinTim noted, I'm sure he believes in the freedoms symbolized in that flag as much as anyone else.
