Batman Critique

One of my coworkers has his status on Facebook as: "does not feel that 'The Dark Knight' was the best film of the summer. It was just, eh."

When pressed on that, he responded:

1. Christian Bale is a tool. His Batman voice sounded like he was taking a really hard poop.
2. Maggie Gyllenhaal looks like a sharpei and only showed up to perform for her death scene.
3. Heath Ledger. Solid. Nothing more.
4. Harvey Dent (not Aaron Eckhart), the dumbest development of a character. A conversation with the Joker is all it takes to do a 360 on all of your core beliefs? I don't buy it.
5. Gary Oldman and Michael Caine, subtle and undervalued performances.

I haven't seen it yet, but... DESTROY!
